Comments: "Is this  a tree growing strong.  The  mallee roots are renowned  for there longevity  no matter how many times the stem breaks off or is cut off. With another wet they spring back to life; so back  where this didg came from another tree most likely is growing strong. Meanwhile this  tree -I mean didg   looks as if nothing has changed.  A mallee tree can not only be hundreds of years old but  even over a thousand. Mallees are some of the oldest and yet smallest gum trees in OZ. This standup is compact yet big  at the base. A good clear hole gives of a great sound.  The two spiral shells have been set in a perfect olliptical hole that was like a shield in the didg and highlighted this didgas a beauty without any guessing." Comments: The sunset perfectly captured the gaping hole at the bottom of this didg. With the light streaming down the hole,  it shows the beauty of the wood grain   that has been brought to life by the beeswax. I compare the sound to the look , a big hole throughout make it a classic sounding  E.
