“Thanks Tynon, I’ve been having sooo much fun with them! Super stoked with the sounds and vibrations. Love how loud the big one is and how quick the smaller one is. Thank you with all my heart <3”
“Tynon is one of those heartfelt humans who radiates passion for what he does. From the moment I tried his didgeridoos, I knew his work was something special. I fell in love with one in particular, but although it was lovely, I couldn’t afford it at the time. He worked with me to make buying it possible, and I’ll always remember that”., David
And a reverse testimonial. 🙂 David Yates, is a didgeridoo player, teacher, multi-instrumentalist, dancer, therapist and facilitator living in Canada whose “Breathwood” you tube channel has over 14,500 followers . Dave in this pic is holding a special heart shaped end, Heartland didgeridoo, he bought when Heartland attended the Oregon didg festival “Indijinus.” Dave’s didg teaching is one of his passions, and has led to him being one of the best online sources for learning and uncovering the magic of didgeridoo playing. An exceptional human being who cannot be defined by the things he does, a creative, an empath, a life changer he is many things and words can’t nail him down.
Hey everyone! I met Tynon of Heartland in 2020, and was immediately hooked by his passion and enthusiasm for instruments he crafts, and the vibrations of his spirit. I’ve several instruments made by him. They all bring great pleasure, sonically and visually. The artwork is superbly rendered, and still amazes me with the resonance of traditional art, and the blending in of his unique gift. Tynon crafted a “low” A drone for me – after 15 months of daily play, it still astounds me in flexibility of playing and quality. Thank you, brother for sharing your gift with us
“A few words on Heartland didg: Yidaki making with these fellas is beyond amazing. Bringing not only a wealth of knowledge and cultural understanding, but mate-ship and compassion for a journey deeper than craftsman ship. I couldn’t imagine anyone better suited to teaching and assisting in a journey of creating and appreciating didg.” Maleak
“After a family visit to Australia, I wanted something more than the generic ‘Koala T-Shirt’ to remember the trip. I met with Tynon from Heartland Didgeridoos and we discussed an intricate design that would capture the beauty of both the outback and coasts of the Australian continent. Tynon and I exchanged e-mails, ideas, and pictures over the next few months until this highly unique and stunningly beautiful didg was completed. I could not be happier with this meaningful keepsake!”, Mark
Absolutely love it! My neighbour just came over for a beer and saw it and the first thing he said was holy shit look at this thing. I thought I could hear someone playing a didg.
Real happy with it. Beyond happy with service and product! You’re a legend my friend!
Hi Tynon, I thought you would like to see this picture of me playing my Heartland didge in Monument Valley in Arizona. Rippa didg. Cheers, Mike
(Michael Edwards is a professional didgeridoo player, considered one of the world’s leading contemporary players. 15 years travelling the world performing & recording. He played a lot also with Charlie Mc Mahon another founder of contemporary didg playing.)
Johnny is a connoisseur of didg, plays for his own pleasure and in contemporary and traditional ceremonies. He is a client of Heartland didgeridoos and owner of this precious Yidaki. Two videos here, one of him playing it and another with he and I talking about this powerful “Fire Biz”.
This 12 year old travelling with his family around Oz had a dream to get a special didg in Australia on their travels and his parents were willing to support him getting something extra special. Of 70 odd didgeridoos to choose from, he chose perhaps the best, the biggest and the most expensive and they got it for him. The picture and video does the talking, and a shame I forgot to write his name down. What a gem! And he can play! It wasn’t the size that got him it was how it played and sounded. He knew what he wanted. One happy lad!
Astronaut Don Pettit brought a custom didgeridoo that was taken into space via the Space Shuttle and it stayed on the ISS Space Station for several years travelling at 17,000 mph and circling the Earth every 1.5 hours. It had to be made in three separate sections to fit in the 17 inch Space Shuttle compartment. I’ve just asked Don for a testimonial and I know how in demand he is as a Scientist and Astronaut, so it may come. In the meanwhile the fact that we at Heartland got through the process of this order and verified to NASA’s satisfaction that it was safe to bring on board is a testimonial alone.
Here’s an exert from his brothers facebook page
“The didge was special made by Tynon, a three piece design with the lower portion depicting the Earth, the middle section the Space Ship, and the upper piece the Stars & Space. Astronaut Pettit was the first man to play a didgeridoo in space. Unfortunately while on mission, the Space Shuttle Columbia disintegrated on re-entry and the Shuttles were grounded, leaving Pettit & two others on the Space Station having to return to Earth using the cramped Soyuz Capsule (‘The Russian Sardine Can’) and there was no room for didgeridoos. So the didge stayed on the Space Station, going around the Earth for several years until it was returned to Astronaut Pettit once Shuttle flights were re-established. The photograph is me, his brother, playing the most travelled didgeridoo in the World.” Robert Pettit
The picture below is one of Don Pettit in the Antarctica playing an ice didg he made with a butter mouthpiece so his lips didn’t stick to the didg.
Eleven months ago I made the call from where I was sitting over looking Uluru, and placed my order on my very first custom didg. The amazing journey that has unfolded since that day, between me and Tynon has been one of pure magic. After sharring my intention for this beautiful healing didg, Tynon helped me to understand what was involved in making a great didg by taking me through the process in great depth, through all the different elements and factors of what gets the best sound and even to practicality of the weight, to finally over a few calls come up with my custom design. I’ve really appreciated the communication through this journey, keeping me updated with the different stages. It really allowing me to be involved energetically. I also really appreciate Tynon’s energy and his understanding of energy. He really understood the importance of this instrument. I am so grateful that I have received my didg, which flys the wedgetail eagle totem. The art is mind blowing and so powerful. The sounds that are coming through are just incredible and on a whole other level to anything I have experienced. Well worth the wait. I will be placing another order in soon for my next piece of healing magic. Thank you brother
