This Yidaki is decades in the making, reflecting the creative love of two men, one an elder now passed and his love and  connection with the ocean,  his relief carving and burn work art,  creating and sharing the masterpiece that is the  depths of the sea and the life therein; the other  the maker, the weaver  who brought the log, the sound and  its colours to life.  Together a collaboration of instrument , friendship and connection beyond  black and white and separateness.  This didg exists perhaps like the whales haunting calls always the  reminder that we all come from the one ocean,   the one creative soup and we all will return. The deep B note beautifully compliments these  magical mysterious depths with the rich overtones and resonance . This didg is full of  story and sound and is ready to take you on a magical journey.
