Didgeridoo is so elemental as an instrument. It works with the elements of earth via being a tree  and grounding us and air via the space and the air we blow, and  yet also the elements of  fire via our intent and water via the moisture in our breath that brings all elements alive.

Because of its size, being so light, so tapered, so flared at the base, this yidaki has perhaps the perfect mix where the elements can all come alive. Its no surprise I call it a Healer Boomer and a Treble Base Boomer

A Healer Boomer ( Magu style) generally comes from large hole throughout and has tons of warmth, resonance and harmonics  but sometimes lacks a bit of backpressure. A Treble Base Boomer ( Yidaki style) alternatively is typically very tapered has a lot of backpressure or compression from a tighter hole in the top half, but the flaring base provides base as well as the treble, from the compression. Generally a didg is one or the other but this one has a strong mix of both.

For that reason the dreaming we’ve associated it with, is the force of wind~ air as it flows across landscape. The art touches on places of power and the air  and movement of life that connects all.
